|IGTV Vs. YouTube| Instagram has recently announced its all new IGTV, an application tailored for watching longer videos. It looks like a move against YouTube as people who use instagram will be able to watch longer videos from their follow list and other recommended videos.
That's not it. The idea behind development of this application to make video watching a whole new thing as Instagram CEO wants people to use IGTV like a TV where people just have to lean back and watch the videos without having to worry much about searching and stuff. Ability to upload videos directly on this application will also be unveiled giving a tough competition to YouTube because Instagram Ad placement strategy in this application looks smart and productive.
Although IGTV will not make any Ad deals for now but when the application gets well saturated, the idea is to make it an Advertising hub similar to YouTube. Probably like YouTube, creators are going to make a lot of money!
