Twitter for iOS revives the reverse-chronological feed

Posted by Droid Flashpedia on Tuesday, December 18, 2018

Twitter made tons of people happy by saying that its iOS app has revived a long-lost feature: the reverse-chronological feed. it is not enabled by default, however that is a small value to pay in order to bring the service back to what it used to be before algorithms took over each social network out there.

You'll see the toggle within the top right of the app. it is a cluster of tiny stars that Twitter calls the "sparkle". tap on that so you will get the choice to switch to seeing the reverse-chronologically sorted feed and be through with the algorithmic program.

Apparently Twitter found that users WHO had access to the easy toggle in tests ended up taking part in additional conversations than average, therefore that is the reason for the relaunch of this once staple feature.
