Samsung’s huge sales record of J7 2015 especially in Indian market tempted Samsung to release more variants of this Smartphone such as J7 Prime, J7 2016, etc but they were not able to do the trick for Samsung as Xiaomi had already flooded the market with Redmi series Smartphone’s which were much better in features and build quality as compared to Samsung J series Smartphone's and same holds true till date.
Priceprice.comSamsung might have considered upgrading J7 (2015) J700F variant to Nougat (7.1.1) for a while after they released update for J7-00T1 and J7-00T which got Indian fans pumped up but it was just a business strategy of Samsung to push the remaining J7 2015 units into foreign countries with latest software update because otherwise no one would have considered buying it.
KimovilSamsung Galaxy J7-00F Indian variant will never see nougat update officially which is for sure but that’s not the end of the story. It is still possible to upgrade your beloved Smartphone to Android v7.1.1 by installing a custom ROM which is nowadays the easiest thing to do next to baking cookies.
